A ‘spooktacular’ Halloween fundraiser has raised more than £500 for pre-school.
A team of Committee members and parents arranged a Covid-safe Halloween Trail around High Legh to help raise much-needed funds.
Dozens of families joined in on the day, taking to the streets of High Legh to search for the hidden clues around the village.
We also held a raffle and sweet sale in order to boost the coffers with prizes kindly donated from parents as well as local businesses including High Legh Garden Centre and the Co-Op in Lymm.
Ellis Starkey, nursery manager, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Committee and parents for organising this fantastic Halloween event, as well as to the local businesses and community who supported it.
“Halloween was a little different this year with the Covid restrictions, but it was wonderful to see the children dressed up in their spooky outfits and having a brilliant time. Even the rain couldn’t dampen people’s spirits and the money raised will go a long way to supporting our nursery.”
