New Baby Room now open

High Legh Pre-School Nursery, which has been part of the community for more than half a century, has launched our brand-new baby room.

We are for the first time in our history now providing care for babies from six months old, after the Baby Room officially opened in September 2020.

Nursery Manager Ellis Starkey said: “High Legh Pre-School Nursery has a long-standing history in the village, having welcomed generations of families through our doors over the years.

“Traditionally, we’ve always provided care for children aged between two and five years old, so it’s a very exciting time for the nursery to be opening our doors to babies for the first time in our history.

“There’s currently nowhere else in High Legh providing childcare for the under twos, meaning parents have to send their children out of the village and then bring them back when they’re pre-school age which can be unsettling. Now, we are thrilled to be able to provide a safe, secure and nurturing learning environment for local children from babies all the way up until they leave us to go to school.”
